What really happens at trials

We have been heading out to lots of trials recently and you have seen some pretty pictures of me and my ribbons and it all looks very serious…. Well I want to blow the lid on it.

Taking me to trials is just an excuse for mum to hang around and chat, sit around and read the paper and the bit I really like… Give me lots of pats. Yep for approximately 95% of the time at a trial that is what happens. I have given away our secret (actually mum showed dad photos she took when they went out to dinner on Saturday and he saw all the ones she takes of me sleeping) but this blog is called 1st World Dog and what else would you expect me to do?

It was an early start Saturday but once we realised the other group were going 1st mum decided we should curl up in the back of the car and have a snooze… Believe there is plans for pillows next time.

There was then some reading of the papers… Please note mum I am not a coffee table and papers should not be spread out across my back.

And finally it was time for mum to walk the course so some alfresco napping…

Oh and there is usually a sausage sizzle that I get to snaffle something… Bonus!

Oh yes there always seems to be a sausage sizzle Ruby… It is worth me doing what mum says in the ring as she is more likely to share (although that may be problematic with your vege family so you might have to ‘share’ from some unsuspecting person.

Actually we have an emergency supply of veggie sausages in the fridge just in case we get the call to a bbq. BUT I would love to snaffle the real thing…
